About the author:
Linda Fischbach is the Founder and CEO of Art Privée, an online database of the world's finest private art museums and foundations, and the author of Extraordinary Art Experiences in America: An Insider’s Guide.

An avid art lover and traveler, Linda’s career started in Santiago, Chile, where she was a Peace Corps volunteer. Since then, her love of art, research, and writing has led her to work with the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.; LACMA’s New Talent Awards Committee in Los Angeles; and renowned auction houses Christie’s and Sotheby’s in New York. She was head of fact-checking efforts at various magazines in New York, such as Mirabella. She was also one of the first producers of the HBO groundbreaking documentary, The Price of Everything, which uncovered the complexity of the contemporary art market.

In 2010, Linda created Art Privée in response to the recent shift in the way collectors are sharing their art collections in their own creative way, offering visitors a convenient location to discover little-known art treasures around the world. She holds a Master's Degree in Library Science from the University of California in Los Angeles; a Master’s in Art from Christie's; and a certificate in American Art from Sotheby's. Linda has been a long-time member of the International Directors Council of the Guggenheim Museum in New York. She is co-chair of the Patron’s Circle at the Guggenheim Museum.

Author Linda Fischbach will be signing books purchased at the Palm Beach Book Store.
